From the 1st of October until the 31st of March, The World Expo 2021 will take place in Dubai. More than 190 countries will participate with several thematic pavilions. The overall theme for Expo 2021 is Connecting Minds, Creating the Future. The Netherlands will also present itself with its own pavilion at this major international event. The Dutch pavilion will focus on the theme Water, Energy & Food.
During the Expo 2021, OSF will organize a NL Sports Week from December 12-16th in the Dutch pavilion. During the NL Sports Week, the Dutch sports sector will be presented to a large international audience. This offers an excellent opportunity for Dutch companies in the field of Sport & Vitality to expand their international network, exchange knowledge and get in touch with relevant stakeholders and potential partners.
The five-day program of the NL Sports Week will include business meetings, matchmaking, seminars, demonstrations/ clinics, workshops and company visits. The pavilion will also feature several Dutch products and innovations, including the Bubble, SkillsCourts, Hydraloop, Plasmamade, Active Esports Arena and SmartGoals.
In total, a delegation of +/- 25 Dutch companies will participate in the NL Sports Week. The goal of this week is to present the Dutch companies as suitable (trade)partners for sustainable and innovative sports experiences.
